Here’s another prompt I’m struggling with a little bit. I can’t think of a lot of books I would consider perfect for autumn so I’m going to talk about some I have already talked about, and I will discuss some I’m excited for which release soon.
I know many people are looking forward to the new Bardugo book, and I am one of those people. I’ve seen this book has some very dark elements… so I’m even more intrigued to delve into this novel. The cover is a little creepy and perfect for fall.
Spooky middle grade is awesome all year round, but it’s extra fantastic during the fall. John Bellairs writes some awesome creepy mysteries. There are so many he’s written, I would suggest starting here because the movie is so cool too.
Harry Potter is perfect for fall. I don’t need to say a lot, but I’m sure a lot of readers know what I mean. Snuggling up with a Harry Potter book under a blanket with some cider sounds like a dream. How could you not just love Harry Potter during the fall?!
I haven’t read this yet, but I just get fall vibes because of the night on the cover. I’m thinking it’s going to be a little magic and maybe creepy so I can’t wait to dive into this and see what all the hype is about.
I read this one about four years ago so I don’t recall all the details. I’m pretty positive I rated it 4 stars, and I liked it. Anything about creepy dolls is a win in my book. Ha ha. I’m funny. It also won a Newbury Honor so I know it’s amazing.
And these are my 5 choices for some perfect autumn reads. I’d love to hear about what you want to still read before winter. Let me know.
Until I rant about books again,
