3 Books You Meant To Read Last Year [Blogtober]

My Goodreads TBR has been fluctuating for years. It’s been as high as 300 and low as 100! I try not to let it get above 150 or I feel like I’m not going to be able to handle all those books. I’ve actually gotten fairly good at culling my shelves and making them so I only have books I want to read and will likely do so. Yet, there are some which have been on the shelves for a long while. These are three I meant to read last year… but didn’t.

Pride and Prejudice has been on my list for years. I don’t know why I don’t just read it. I’m sure it won’t be as horrible as I think. Still, I keep putting it off. I’m sure it’s not as bad as I think. I am just not a huge fan of classics. I liked the movies and stuff… I’m just not excited about this book so I’m not sure if I’ll ever actually read it.

I have been also meaning to read this one for ages. Everyone says it’s so good. I really don’t know what I am waiting for. I have actually added to my tbr for a readathon I’m doing at the end of the month so I’ll finally be getting to this one. Hopefully it lives up to the hype around it.

I bought this book last year. It just sat on my shelves and then came with us when we moved. Finally I looked at it a month ago, and I read it. The trilogy was one I really got into, so I was very interested to see the ending. Though I’m sad it’s over, I’m so happy I read the last book. I know this isn’t a series for everyone, but it’s one I indulged in.

What are some books you bought last year and didn’t read? Did you ever read them or just give up? Let me know!

Until I rant about books again,
